Building a Better Community thru Adopting a Classroom! - Aaron N
In conjunction with Adopt A Classroom and Subaru Loves Learning, Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad once again participated by adopting 6 classrooms at Calavera Hills Elementary School. Each year, teachers go out of their way to ensure the children under their care have the items neccessary for the school year. Funds were provided to help teachers offset these expenses. A yearbook was presented to the principal, Aaron Nelson by Manny Morataya. The yearbook contained words of encouragment from guest at Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad.
Forever Homes - Elizabeth A
On Saturday, October 25th, we had the pleasure of being hosted by Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad. Through their generous support of a donation and their location, we were able to find forever homes for several of our dog and cat rescues. We also did microchipping on site during the event. Raising Canes also had a table set up and supported the event with handouts and Sweet Tea. It was a good chance to get the dogs out and show them in a different enviroment. Again, thank you to Autonation Subaru. We look forward to next year.
Spreading Hope - 1 Tote At A Time - Donald E
We are grateful to our parent company, Autonation, for providing tote bags and care items to be delivered to a cancer center in the community. We chose to deliver the totes to the Tri-City Medical Center which services the cities of Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista. Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad’s sales team worked together assembling the totes for delivery. The totes were then presented to the Tri-City Hospital Foundation for their patients undergoing chemotherapy Treatment. Deborah Trusty of the Tri-City Hospital Foundation received the totes from Don Elliott, Autonation Subaru’s Love Promise Champion.
Saving Lives Thru Blood Donations - Raymond W
As we enter this season of giving, we are reminded of the lfe-saving impact that a single blood donation makes in our community. One reason why people don’t donate is that it is not convenient for them. So, we want to thank Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad for the opportunity to bring our Blood Mobile to their dealership for the day. So on behalf of Selina and Makai, both blood recipients, and the San Diego Blood Bank, Thank You!
SD Ronald McDonald House - AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad - Tasha M
In the last few years, AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and San Diego Ronald McDonald House through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, 10 patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. The items were delivered to the oncology staff at the hospital on July 16th, 2025, by Autonation Subaru Carlsbad for distribution to patients in treatment.
Sand, Surf, and Subaru's - Robin R
It was another beautiful weekend on the water at the Oceanside Pier. The Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club held their 40th Annual Surfing & Beach Festival on August 8 - 10, 2025. The club, thru their members, promotes and fosters the amateur sport of surfing with emphasis on good sportsmanship & citizenship. Also improving the public image of the surfing community, and supporting the conservation of the coastal enviroment. It's from events such as this, that we are able to support several local charities like the California Surf Museum, the Scholastic Surf Series, and local school surf teams. We want to give a large "Mahalo" to Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad, who has been a consistent supporter every year of the OLSC.

The San Diego Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families whose children are being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. We know that the best medicine is a family that is all together sharing moments that matter. We are very fortunate that for the past few years, Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad, thru the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, have again chosen us as the recipients of 80 customized heart-shaped blankets for pediatric patients undergoing cancer as well as other treatments. Patient Care Kits were also delivered along with a "Message of Hope" board. The messages of hope were notes from their customers wishing them well. Our thanks go out to Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad for their contnued support.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society has been serving San Diego County for more than 64 years, dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoptions, and offering educational programs and support services that strengthen human-animal bonds. We recently celebrated a Grand Opening Festival for our neighbors and supporters, showcasing our newly upgraded campus and Medical Center. One such supporter was Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad. For the past few years, they have made RCHS the beneficiary of the Subaru Loves to Share prograqm from November to January, as well as the Subaru Loves Pets program in October. Both of these programs showed not only a commitment to RCHS, but to our furry friends as well. Autonation Subaru was on hand during the celebration showing pet friendly accessories. Shoes & Socks for the Kids - Debby E
Autonation Subaru of Carlsbad, thru Operation Warm, was matched with Operation Hope of North County. A non-profit organization that provides a safe, caring, and supportive environment to families with children and single women experiencing homelessness as they rebuild their lives and reclaim independence. Through the Subaru Loves to Help event, Autonation Subaru donated 120 pairs of shoes and 240 pairs of socks to the children of ther families in their programs.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Carlsbad, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/17/2025, AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad donated 120 shoes/socks to Operation HOPE-North County. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
